Hand-thrown ribbed ceramic vase is inspired by California modernism. Designed in collaboration with Glenn Lawson of Lawson-Fenning, the Miramar collection honors California's natural beauty. "We were looking at cues from nature—the greens from local trees and the redness of earthenware clay—and worked to express that with the glazing," Lawson explains. Using his designs, the collection recreates bespoke ceramics by small-batch potter Isaih Porter in Ojai, California. Skilled artisans coat the small ribbed vase with a rich brown reactive glaze that darkens at the base for a look both vintage and modern.
