In "Orilon," Ksenia Sizaya explores creation through sharp lines and texture. Dark lines are layered against a textured soft beige background, creating a loose geometric structure. "This piece is a tribute to the early stages of creation, when ideas are still fragile, raw and full of possibility," Sizaya explains. CB2 exclusive.
Ksenia Sizaya is a Montreal-based artist who was trained in St. Petersburg, Russia, and completed her master's degree in graphic art. Sizaya says her art is influenced by abstract expressionism and modernism. "I've always been a creative person, even as a small child. Design and art have always been a major part of my life." The artist is inspired by city life imagery and the outdoors.
