Victoria Sanders
LONDON, ENGLAND
Artist and textile designer Victoria Sanders is a veteran of the fashion and interiors industry, serving as Head of Design at Matthew Williamson before founding her eponymous design studio. A maven of design and textiles in her own right, Victoria creates highly intricate, hand-drawn and painted prints for everything from wallpaper to furnishings.
Every design starts with hours of sketching (sometimes hundreds), each drawn by hand using a fineliner pen for an etching-like quality.
The Nature of Things
Victoria finds endless inspiration in animals and the nature that surrounds her, always interwoven with an air of storytelling. “I’m in love with the Eden Bedding’s richly detailed world of flourishing jungle life. The neutral color palette is gently lifted with soft accents, creating a calm, timeless aesthetic with an unexpected edge. Classic yet conventional, serene yet alive.”
