Shaped by hand in Indonesia, terracotta vase is sun-dried to a leathery hardness before being fired in an underground wood-burning kiln. Its rich brown tone comes from the ash of the spent wood, giving the piece a unique and natural appearance. A second firing intensifies the color further.
